A shop price and a value are different numbers. This calculator gives you the second one: the metal at today's live spot, the stones at wholesale, and the ladder in between — the same engine the Intrinsix app runs.
The app does the part a web page cannot: it reads a Catawiki lot from its URL, adds the buyer fee, VAT and import duty, and tells you the maximum you should bid.
Get Intrinsix for iPhoneHow to read a jewellery listing: the three numbers that decide the value, what a hallmark does and does not prove, the words that mean a stone was treated, and what an auction really costs you at checkout. No email needed, it is right here.
Read the guideTwo short videos with real pieces: weighing them, taking the stones off the gross weight, and entering everything into the app until it gives a maximum bid.
